Trump says U.S. does a worse job securing its borders than Third World countries

The current U.S. administration is doing a worse job than Third World countries at securing U.S. borders. Donald Trump expressed this opinion at a rally in Michigan.

“Nothing like this has happened to any other nation. Even third world countries guard their borders at least a little bit,” he said, describing the situation caused by illegal migration.

Trump argues that the U.S. is now “systematically destroying.” “These people just don’t know what they’re doing,” he summarized.

As president, Trump has taken a series of measures to tighten immigration policy and increase border control. He initiated the construction of a wall on the border with Mexico. Trump said it would help curb illegal immigration and drug smuggling.

Joe Biden signed several executive orders last January after his inauguration, including easing immigration laws. One of his first orders as president was to lift the state of emergency on the U.S.-Mexico border.
