Attackers broke glass at the entrance to the Turkish House in New York City’s Manhattan borough, where the Turkish Consulate General, where voting in the second round of the presidential election is taking place, is located.

More than a dozen panes of glass were broken on the building’s facade. It is noted that the attack was carried out by “terrorist supporters.

At least one person attacked the building around 03:14. He broke the windows with an iron crowbar or a piece of rebar. The Turkish side contacted the NYPD. A cordon has been set up around the building and an investigation has begun.

“The Turkish House is a 36-story skyscraper located in Manhattan across from the United Nations headquarters building. The building was commissioned in 2021. It was commissioned by Turkey and designed by the international architectural firm Perkins Eastman.
