Mercedes is recalling 800,000 cars worldwide

Mercedes is recalling more than 800,000 cars worldwide due to a possible malfunction. This message was sent out to customers in December. It says there may be a potential malfunction in the coolant pump. Under certain circumstances, in some cases, “a fire cannot be completely ruled out,” according to the text.

The problem is that owners of the vehicles in question have not yet been able to schedule an inspection date due to a shortage of parts caused by the coronavirus pandemic.

The recall concerns diesel models GLC, GLE, GLS, as well as C, E and S classes with a production date between January and October 2017.
