Jeff Blashill Named Head Coach of 2019 U.S. National Team At The Ice Hockey World Championship

Mentor of the National Hockey League (NHL) “Detroit Red Wings” Jeff Blashill will lead the US team at the Ice Hockey World Championship in 2019, which will be held in Slovakia. 
Blashill will take the post of head coach of the United States at the Ice Hockey World Championship for the third year in a row. In 2017, the team under his leadership showed the fifth result in the world championship, and in 2018 won a set of bronze medals.
Blashill’s assistants at the Ice Hockey World Championship 2019 (IIHF) will be his assistant from “Detroit” Dan Bylsma, head coach of the NHL club “New Jersey Devils” John Hynes, and Director of Player Personnel at NTDP Kevin Reiter. 
As previously reported, Alexander Georgiev from “New York Rangers” could play for the Russian national team at the world hockey championship.
