Trump Expresses Regret In Connection With The Tough Position On Brexit By The European Union

US President Donald Trump expressed regret that the European Union took a tough position on the issue of the UK’s withdrawal from the union.
“Too bad that the European Union is being so tough on the United Kingdom and Brexit,” Trump wrote on his Twitter page.
He also mentioned that in relation to the United States, the European Union behaves as “a brutal trading partner” – “The E.U. is likewise a brutal trading partner with the United States, which will change. Sometimes in life you have to let people breathe before it all comes back to bite you!”
The leaders of 27 EU countries, following several hours of tense discussions on Thursday, agreed on a compromise date for a new delay on Brexit – now London has to accept an agreement on leaving the EU until October 31 maximum, otherwise exit without an agreement will occur on November 1.
But if the agreement will be ratified by the parties before this date, then an orderly exit from the EU will take place on the first day of the month following these decisions. If the British Parliament does not approve the agreement by may 22 and Britain is still be in the EU by the time of the elections to the EP, it will have to take part in them. Otherwise, the delay will be completed on May 31, and exit from the EU without a deal will occur on June 1.
