The UK should clarify to the European Union the reasons for the need to delay the kingdom’s withdrawal date from the union.
This was announced on Tuesday by Romanian delegate-minister for European affairs George Ciamba at a press conference following the meeting of the EU Council, which is chaired by his country.
“The UK would have to provide a clear plan to justify an extension,” he said.
