At least nine people died as a result of bad weather

At least nine people were killed Friday in tornadoes and heavy rains in the southern United States. This was reported by Reuters.

The cyclone, which caused the tornado and heavy rains, is moving toward the northeast of the country, where it is forecast to trigger heavy snowfalls.

More than 1.4 million homes and businesses were left without electricity in states affected by the natural disaster.
