White House Reveals Details About The Telephone Talks Between Trump & Japanese Prime Minister
White House deputy press secretary Judd Deere confirmed that US President Donald Trump had telephone conversations with Japanese Prime Minister Shinzō Abe, during which leaders discussed Iran and North Korea.
“They discussed a number of bilateral issues, including trade relations. The two leaders also discussed developments related to Iran and the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea,” he noted.
“President Trump and Prime Minister Abe agreed to continue close communication and coordination, particularly in light of recent threatening statements issued by the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea.”
Abe said earlier that he had discussed North Korea with Trump over the phone.
