US President Donald Trump said that North Korean leader Kim Jong-un’s visit to Washington will take place shortly. Fox News channel broadcasted Trump’s speech.
“I said you, know what, at the right time, you’re going to come over. We’re going to go over there. But we still have work to do. We’ll see,” said Trump.
Trump also said that he crossed the border between South Korea and the DPRK with the permission of North Korean leader Kim Jong-un.
“Stepping across that line was a great honor”, shared Trump.
According to the American president, after that, he and Kim Jong-un crossed the border line together.
After negotiations with the North Korean leader, Trump left the demilitarized zone.
Earlier, Trump said that he invites Kim Jong-un to the White House.
Following the talks, Trump and Kim Jong-un agreed to resume negotiations between the United States and the DPRK over the next few weeks.
