Elon Musk was named Time magazine’s Person of the Year. The choice was made by the readers of the publication.
24% – voted for Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro, who is under investigation in his home country because of his statements about the connection of COVID-19 vaccination with the risk of AIDS.
Third place went to former head of state Donald Trump with 9 percent of the vote. Another 6.3% of readers voted for doctors battling the coronavirus, which topped last year.
Current U.S. President and Vice President Joe Biden and Kamala Harris were honored in this category in 2020. A year earlier, the magazine awarded the title to eco-activist Greta Thunberg.
