Tesla raised the prices of all its cars

Tesla has raised prices on all of its electric car models due to supply chain disruptions. The price of Model X electric cars rose by $6,000 to $120,990. The cost of the Model S went up from $62,990 to $65,990.

It is noted that this is not the first price increase for electric cars Tesla in 2022, since January the price of the most budget Model 3 has gone up by $10 thousand. The current rise in price is associated with a violation of supply chains, as well as rising prices for raw materials, particularly aluminum, used in manufacturing cars.

Elon Musk reported a “very bad feeling about the U.S. economy” and warned of his intention to “cut about 10% of employees” as well as “suspend hiring around the world.” Speaking at the All-in Summit technology conference in Miami in mid-May, Musk said that the United States economy was in a recession and would be out of it in at least a year.
