Psaki: U.S. transmits real-time combat intelligence to Ukraine
Washington provides Kiev with real-time intelligence on the combat situation, the U.S. believes the Ukrainian military uses this data in its planning. White House press secretary Jen Psaki said this at a regular briefing for journalists.
“We provide real-time data,” she said when asked whether the U.S. is willing to provide Kiev with intelligence on the combat situation in Ukraine.
“We provide intelligence on an ongoing basis, including information that the Ukrainians can use to develop a military response to the ongoing Russian invasion,” Psaki added.
The White House press secretary was also asked whether Washington was providing Kiev with intelligence that could be used to improve accuracy in strikes. Psaki did not give a definite answer. She stressed that she could not “disclose details regarding intelligence for obvious reasons.”
Psaki added that Ukraine timely receives “a significant amount of detailed intelligence from the United States about Russian plans and actions.” “We’ve been doing that for many months,” she said.
