Psaki stated that the U.S. and Russia maintain high-level relations

Washington and Moscow maintain high-level contacts, but the U.S. side cannot announce any upcoming contacts between U.S. President Joe Biden and Russian leader Vladimir Putin right now. White House press secretary Jen Psaki said this at a regular briefing on Tuesday.

“I have nothing to announce or predict at this point,” she said in response to a related question. “Obviously, as a follow-up to this summer’s summit, we are in high-level contact with our Russian counterparts,” Psaki added.
