Oil pipeline project between the United States and Canada closed
Canadian contractor TC Energy has announced the closure of the Keystone XL oil pipeline project.
The company has “thoroughly explored the options”, consulted with the government of the province of Alberta and confirmed that it is” closing the project ” of the Keystone XL oil pipeline from Canada to the United States.
Recall that the cancellation of the Keystone XL oil pipeline project was one of the first 15 decrees of Joseph Biden as president of the United States.
Note that the decree on the resumption of the Keystone construction project was one of the first presidential decrees of Donald Trump. In 2015, US President Barack Obama vetoed a bill to build an oil pipeline.
