New York authorities expect to lift restrictions on coronavirus by July
The mayor of New York (USA) Bill de Blasio said that the city authorities plan to completely remove all restrictions imposed due to the coronavirus pandemic on July 1.
“We have set a goal to fully open New York on July 1,” he wrote on his Twitter account.
He added that the city is ready to open shops, businesses, offices, theaters and other places of mass gathering of people.
The reason for this decision was the vaccination of a large number of residents of the city (6.3 million vaccinations).
Earlier it was reported that the Moscow authorities hope to minimize quarantine restrictions by the summer.
The British authorities expect to lift restrictions on the coronavirus in June.
