As of 11:00 a.m. U.S. East Coast time (6:00 p.m. Moscow time), Nasdaq gained 71.5 points (0.48%), reaching a record 15,014.15 points. The U.S. Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 52.34 points (0.15%) to 35,388.05 points. The S&P 500 gained 10.29 points (0.23 percent) to 4,489.82 points.

Reuters reports that indexes grew amid the fact that the U.S. Food and Drug Administration on Monday finally approved for use a vaccine against coronavirus, developed by the American company Pfizer and its German partner BioNTech. According to Reuters, investors are hoping for a speedy U.S. economic recovery.
