Grammy awards ceremony postponed

The Grammy Awards ceremony, which was to be held on January 31 in Los Angeles, has been postponed indefinitely due to the spread of the coronavirus.

This is according to a press release posted on the website of the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences.

“Given the uncertainties associated with the spread of the Omicron strain, there are great risks associated with the Jan. 31 ceremony,” the release stated.
