Donald Trump: “Democrats Trying To Stop ME, Because I Am Fighting For YOU!”

US President Donald Trump on Sunday posted a video message on Twitter in connection with another the attempt by the Democratic party to bring the case to impeachment. 

“The Democrats want to take away your guns, they want to take away your healthcare, they want to take away your vote, they want to take away your freedom, they want to take away your judges, they want to take away everything. We can never let this happen, we’re fighting to drain the swamp. That is exactly what I’m doing. And you see why we have to do it, our county is at stake like never before. It is all very simple, they’re trying to stop me because I’m fighting for you, and I’ll never let that happen”, Donald Trump said. 

Trump once again repeated that the Republicans are trying “to drain the swamp” because “county is at stake”. “They are trying to stop ME, because I am fighting for YOU!” 

Trump’s video message appeared against the backdrop of a scandal with the White House, which is allegedly hiding recordings of Trump’s conversations with the leaders of Ukraine, Russia and Saudi Arabia. 

The conversation between Donald Trump and Vladimir Zelensky was in the spotlight after media reports that the intelligence officer considered him alarming and sent a complaint to his leadership. 

Democrats began impeachment against Trump in the House of Representatives, accusing him of asking for foreign government assistance to intervene in the election through an attempt to discredit Biden. Trump denies the allegations. 

Meanwhile, the U.S. Special Representative for Ukraine Negotiations Kurt Volker mentioned in the complaint resigned.
