DarkBERT Artificial Intelligence Will Take Control of the Darknet

Cybersecurity experts from South Korea have created the highly unusual DarkBERT language model. According to them, it is the best tool to control the darkest corners of the Internet, where anarchy still reigns. We are talking about the so-called dark web – the segment of the global Web, which is not indexed by ordinary search engines and where it is still possible to remain completely anonymous. To work in this “underground of the Internet” requires special software.

DarkBERT can be used to index shadow resources that search engines cannot index now. The new neural network can open up new opportunities in the fight against crime in the cyberspace. Criminals now have no problem selling hard drugs, weapons and personal information using sites that remain invisible to conventional search engines and law enforcement.

Scientists have already put the new AI to the test. They connected it to the Tor network, which is used to access the darknet. Initial results show that DarkBERT is much more effective than other language models.
