Biden will leave the G7 summit early

President Joe Biden will leave the G7 summit in Germany earlier than planned due to bad weather.

According to his schedule, Biden was scheduled to deliver a speech at the final session of the meeting of leaders of developed world economies, after which he would fly by helicopter to Munich. From there, he was scheduled to fly on a presidential plane to Madrid to attend the NATO summit.

However, due to fog, low cloud cover and a possible thunderstorm in the area of the summit, Biden will be transported to Munich by motorcade.

Before his early departure, Biden met with British Prime Minister Boris Johnson, French President Emmanuel Macron, Italian Prime Minister Mario Draghi and Summit host Chancellor Olaf Scholz.
