U.S. President Joe Biden signed a bill to raise the national debt ceiling by $480 billion. This is stated in a message released by the press service of the White House.
“On Thursday, Oct. 14, the president signed a bill that would raise the national debt limit by $480 billion, which is expected to be enough to keep the federal government fully committed through early December,” the statement said.
Earlier it was reported that the U.S. House of Representatives approved a $480 billion increase in the U.S. national debt ceiling through Dec. 3.
