Biden has ordered help for Arkansas because of a tornado

U.S. President Joe Biden on Sunday ordered to provide federal aid to the authorities and residents of the state of Arkansas because of the consequences of storms and tornadoes.

Joe Biden announced that a “major natural disaster” had occurred across the state and ordered additional assistance to local authorities for recovery efforts in several counties.

Assistance could include grants for temporary housing and home repairs, low-interest loans to cover uninsured property damage, and other programs to help individuals and business owners recover from the disaster.

According to the latest data, at least 26 people were killed by tornadoes and storms in several U.S. states, including Arkansas, Indiana and Tennessee.
