Biden and Putin will have their second conversation in a month
U.S. and Russian presidents Joe Biden and Vladimir Putin will hold a telephone conversation on Thursday. According to National Security Council (NSC) press secretary Emily Horn, Biden and Putin plan to discuss “a number of topics, including the upcoming diplomatic engagement with Russia.
This will be the second conversation between the two presidents in the last month. On December 7, Putin and Biden had a two-hour conversation in the form of a teleconference bridge. The predominant topic was the situation around Ukraine; the leaders also discussed bilateral relations, cybersecurity, and the Iran nuclear deal.
