An Australian won an $80 million jackpot

An Australian resident who lost his job to lockdowns in Victoria won an A$80 million (about $58.7 million) jackpot, the Sydney Morning Herald reported Friday.

The man, who wished to remain anonymous, was working part-time as a janitor to support his family when he learned of his winnings Thursday night.

He said the big winnings would enable him to pay off his mortgage, pay all his bills and raise his children in the future.
