Blinken commented on the drone attack on the Kremlin
The U.S. has seen reports of an attempted drone attack on the Kremlin, but cannot yet confirm their accuracy, Secretary of State Anthony Blinken said.
“I’ve seen the reports, I just can’t confirm them in any way,” Blinken said, speaking at a press freedom event.
According to the secretary of state, information from the Kremlin is not credible. “I would divide everything coming from the Kremlin by two,” Blinken said.
“We’ll see the facts, for now it’s hard to comment and speculate without knowing the facts,” Blinken said.
He said that “broadly speaking,” the U.S. is leaving Ukraine to decide “how it will defend itself.”
