Biden was evacuated after a private plane mistakenly entered a restricted area

On Saturday, a private plane mistakenly entered a restricted air zone over Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, where President Joe Biden is vacationing. This was reported by the White House press service.

A small private jet entered restricted airspace. All indications are that it happened by mistake and precautions were taken. There was no threat to the president or his family.

The White House press pool reported that Joe Biden and his wife, Jill, were evacuated to safety, the road adjacent to the president’s home was temporarily blocked. They have now returned to their home.

The plane was immediately escorted beyond the boundaries of the closed airspace.

The plane’s pilot did not turn on the required radio channel and did not follow proper notification and instructions. Law enforcement officials will question the pilot. The Secret Service added that “preventive security measures were taken, but there was no significant threat” to Biden.
