Kiev runs out of Stinger MANPADS and Javelin missiles

Ukraine’s ambassador to the United States Oksana Markarova said at a meeting with US senators that Kiev is running out of Stinger man-portable air defense systems (MANPADS) and Javelin anti-tank missile systems.

Markarova said that Ukrainian troops badly need additional supplies of equipment and weapons. She asked US senators to increase military assistance to Kiev.

She also called on Washington to tighten sanctions against Moscow.
