MMA fighter Jordan Young died

American mixed martial artist Jordan Young passed away at the age of 27, according to MMA Fighting. No cause of death was given. The American Fighting Organization confirmed his death.

“I got a call today that one of the fighters I was currently training in boxing had passed away. I quietly walked out of the locker room, found a dark room and cried. I couldn’t believe it, I heard his voice in my head. Standing there bewildered before I had to pull myself together to get the job done,” said Young’s boxing coach Derick Santos.

In his MMA career, Young has 12 wins (one of them by knockout) and two losses. In his last fight on Oct. 27, Young defeated Russian Omari Akhmedov early.
