U.S. military base in Syria came under missile attack
Several rockets exploded on Monday on the territory of a US military base located in the northern Syrian province of Deir ez-Zor. According to SANA news agency, the rocket hit a US military camp located in the Zeiban area near the Al-Omar oil field. There were no reports of casualties or damage to property.
Earlier SANA agency reported that on December 5 several rockets were fired at the US and Western coalition military base in the town of Al-Tanf at the junction of the borders of Syria, Iraq and Jordan, but the US command later denied this information.
