Trump On Coup D'etat In America

As promised by the White House’s chief political consultant Stephen Bannon after the investigation of special prosecutor Mueller, who did not find evidence of Trump’s and the Kremlin’s conspiracy, Trump “turned on the beast”. The US president said that there was an attempted coup, and stressed that the “security forces”, which actually tried to remove him from office, committed treason.
Moreover, Trump himself now has the opportunity to take revenge and even a suitable tool for a total cleansing of his political opponents, and not only among security officers. Attorney General William Barr, apparently, is really ready to arrange the most extensive political investigation in American history.
British TV company BBC writes that “William Barr meanwhile said he believes US authorities did spy on the Trump campaign. US intelligence officials have previously said they were spying on the Russians, not the Trump campaign.” It is significant that the position of the US Attorney General now coincides with the position of the Russian media, which initially stated: the entire investigation into the “Russian conspiracy” was nothing more than an element of the internal political struggle in the US, and was aimed at preventing Trump from becoming president and then – to achieve his impeachment.
“This was an attempted coup. An attempt to take down the president. And we beat them … I knew how illegal this whole thing was. It was a scam … What I’m most interested in is getting started … on going back to the origins of exactly where this all started. Because this was an illegal witch hunt and everybody knew it, and they knew it too, and they got caught. What they did was treason. What they did was terrible. What they did was against our Constitution and everything we stand for,” Trump said at an improvised press conference.
