Trump has promised not to become a dictator if he wins the election

Former US President Donald Trump has promised not to become a dictator if he wins the 2024 election.

“No, no. Except the first day I close the border and start drilling. Other than that, I will not be a dictator,” Trump said, speaking at a meeting with voters in the state of Iowa, organized by the Fox News channel.

The next U.S. presidential election will be held in November 2024. On April 25, incumbent President Joe Biden said he would seek re-election to the nation’s highest office. Trump has announced he will enter the campaign race in November 2022.
