In The New York city, $100 will be paid to all those who have received the third coronavirus vaccination
Everyone who gets their third (booster) coronavirus vaccination in New York City will receive $100 each. Metropolitan Mayor Bill de Blasio announced this on Tuesday.
“You can come to any inoculation center set up by the city or by our partners and get a booster shot and $100,” he said at a news conference that was streamed online by the mayor’s office.
De Blasio added that city residents who have been vaccinated at home can also apply for the booster payment. For this purpose it is necessary to enter the necessary data on a specialized city portal.
Coronavirus infection rates in New York State have been at an all-time high for the past four days. Dozens of people have gathered at mobile PCR-testing sites. However, authorities hope to avoid a lockdown for now, stressing the need for vaccinations and sanitary measures.
