Spider-Man comic book page sold at auction in the U.S. for $3.36 million
A page from the Spider-Man comic book was sold for $3.36 million at a Heritage Auctions auction in Texas. The illustration dates back to 1984. Artist Mike Zeck first depicted a popular comic book character in a black suit.
Joe Maddalena, vice president of the auction house, added After the Spider-Man comic book page, a highly accurate copy of the first issue of Superman was sold. The item went under the hammer for $3.18 million. Pokémon cards and comic books have been high on the bargain list lately.
