Schoffel became an Olympic golf champion

American Xander Schoffel took first place in the men’s singles golf competition at the Summer Olympics in Tokyo with 266 points.

The silver medalist was Rory Sabbatini of Slovakia with 267 points.

Bronze medalist was determined in the extra round, as seven players had the same result. The winner was Pan Cheng-tsung from Taiwan.
