Saudi Arabia will be home to the world’s tallest skyscraper

In Saudi Arabia the design of a skyscraper, which is to become the tallest building in the world, has begun. The project was entrusted to a large British company Foster + Partners. The estimated cost of the building with a height of 2000 meters will be several billion dollars.

Skyscraper-record-breaker will be erected to the north of Riyadh near the international airport. At the moment the project is covered with a veil of secrecy, but it is already clear that the builders will have to face a lot of technical and technological difficulties. These include a huge wind load and titanic pressure on the ground.

In addition, the costs of erecting the skyscraper itself will be colossal. And one could doubt that the world will one day see it in person, and not on the sketches of designers, but the project of the skyscraper city Line 170 kilometers long, which is already in full swing in Saudi Arabia, removes all doubts.
