Saudi Arabia raised oil prices for Asian, European and U.S. markets

Saudi Arabia, the largest oil exporter, raised March oil prices for Asia, as well as consumers in Europe and the United States. It was reported by Bloomberg agency on Monday.

According to its data, the official selling price of Arab Light rose to $2 a barrel in March, 20 cents higher than in February.

This is the first price increase for that grade since last September. It contradicts a Bloomberg survey of traders and refiners, which predicted a 20-cent drop.
