Mass Media: Joe Biden Faces New Accusations Of Inappropriate Behavior

Amy Lappos, a former aide to Rep. Jim Himes (D-CT), said that the former Vice President Joe Biden touched her inappropriately and “rubbed noses with her ,” reports Hartford Courant.
As the woman said, the incident occurred in 2009 during a fundraising event in Greenwich, Connecticut. According to Lappos, ” she felt extremely uncomfortable,” when Biden approached her.
“It wasn’t sexual, but he did grab me by the head … He put his hand around my neck and pulled me in to rub noses with me. When he was pulling me in, I thought he was going to kiss me on the mouth,” said Lappos.
She added that she didn’t file a complaint at that time, since Biden served as vice president, and Lappos “was nobody.”
Earlier, Lucy Flores, a former member of the Nevada Legislature, spoke about an incident with Biden’s inappropriate behavior during an election event in November 2014, a few days before the Senate elections. According to Flores, before her performance, Biden came up behind and kissed her on the back of her head. As the media noted, the woman decided to talk about this incident now in connection with the talk that Biden intends to run for the presidential elections in 2020.
Earlier, the Wall Street Journal, citing a source, reported that the former US Vice President told his supporters about his intention to run for the presidential election and asked for help with cash contributions. Earlier, Biden said that the upcoming presidential elections in November 2020 will be the most important in the last 100 years.
Biden, who in 2009-2017 served as the second person of the state under President Barack Obama, is considered one of the most popular Democratic candidates among those who could take part in the 2020 elections. However, he himself has not yet announced the desire to join the election campaign, but did not rule out this possibility.
