Lloyd Austin arrived on a visit to Ukraine

U.S. Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin arrived in Kiev on Tuesday for an official visit.

“Landed in Kiev. I am here to reaffirm our unwavering support for Ukraine’s sovereignty, territorial integrity and Euro-Atlantic aspirations,” he wrote on Twitter.

During the visit, Austin will meet with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and Defense Minister Andriy Taran. The sides intend to discuss bilateral and regional security cooperation.
