Kanye West bought a sculpture house in Malibu for $57 million
The house, designed by Japanese architect Tadao Ando, cost $75 million in 2020, and this year it went to rapper Kanye West for only $57 million. Rapper Kanye West recently purchased a home for $57.3 million in Malibu, California, reports Yahoo.
The residence overlooking the Pacific Ocean is one of the few buildings in the United States designed by famed Japanese Pritzker Prize-winning architect Tadao Ando, a proponent of critical regionalism (this trend is characterized by an author’s approach to local cultural sensibilities).
The 372-square-meter house has three floors. The first floor of concrete and steel has three guest bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, the second floor is the living room, and the third floor is the owners’ private space.
