Joe Biden filed his tax return, reporting an annual household income of $619,900

Joe Biden and First Lady Jill Biden released a joint tax return in which they reported an annual family income of $619,900, of which $146,600 was paid as federal taxes in 2023. Vice President Kamala Harris and her husband Douglas Emhoff also released their tax documents. Their total income was nearly $450.3k, of which more than $88.5k was paid as income tax. The rate was 19.7%. They also paid $15.1k in California state taxes. Emhoff additionally paid nearly $11.6k in taxes in the D.C. metropolitan area. They gave $23k to charity in 2023.
