Jill Biden supports her husband's intention to become president of the United States again

U.S. First Lady Jill Biden supports her husband Joe Biden’s intention to run for another presidential term in 2024. Biden will not make a decision without her approval. This was reported by NBC television on Friday.

Jill Biden, made it clear that the 2024 nomination is “fully supported by Biden’s Ph.D. (Jill herself) and family.” The first lady privately told Democratic Party officials that her spouse would actually run for president, and she wants to do so herself.

“He understands the business of governing better than anyone else,” Jill Biden told NBC. She did not explicitly say that Biden will go for a new term, but she is not opposed to spending four more years in the White House, the channel notes. NBC calls Jill Biden “the decision maker. According to the network, the first lady participates in high-level political meetings, tells Biden about the aspirations of Americans she learns about during her trips around the country, and helps him with appointments.

Moreover, it is her word that will be decisive in whether or not Biden goes for a new term. According to the president’s associates, if Gill doesn’t want him to run, Biden won’t do it.

“I don’t think he makes major decisions of consequence without talking to her and getting her perspective,” former senator from Biden’s home state of Delaware and longtime acquaintance Ted Kaufman told the channel. NBC notes, however, that Jill Biden is not really involved in all the decisions the president makes. She, according to one of her aides, convinces Biden’s staff not to withhold the truth and say even things that might “anger” the American leader.

In early October, White House press secretary Karin Jean-Pierre said Biden intends to fight for re-election to the nation’s highest office in 2024. Biden, whose popularity rating remains low, did not deny in a September interview with CBS television that he would not run for president in 2024. He said he has not made a “firm decision” about whether or not to run in the next presidential election.
