French architect Rudy Ricciotti told that the return of Notre Dame Cathedral after the fire to its original appearance is real, but it requires considerable effort and time.
“I think it’s possible,” Ricciotti said, adding that the restoration of the Cathedral could take from 5 to 10 years.
The architect noted that we are talking about Gothic architecture, which is known for its “fragility.” Nevertheless, according to him, in France there are competent experts who can cope with this task.
According to Ricciotti, it’s impossible to talk about the damages inflicted on the building by fire, in order to determine the extent of the damage, it is necessary the concludion of commission.
