Instead of regime change in Russia, Trump suggested focusing on regime change in the U.S.

Donald Trump said, in response to a question about whether there is a need to push for regime change in Russia, that it is the United States itself that needs a change of power.

Asked if the U.S. “should support regime change efforts in Russia,” Trump said, “No, we should support regime change in the United States. This is much more important. It was the Biden administration that got us into this chaos.”

In November 2022, Trump announced that he would run for president in 2024. Incumbent U.S. President Joe Biden, on the other hand, announced plans to fight for re-election as head of state as early as November 9, but warned that he would not make a final decision until earlier this year.
