Harris and Macron to discuss cybersecurity and many other issues
U.S. Vice President Kamala Harris and French President Emmanuel Macron will discuss cooperation in cybersecurity and supply chain operations at a meeting in Paris. The White House press pool announced this on Tuesday.
“Climate change, space, economics, supply chains, technology, cybersecurity, global health, and the Indo-Pacific region are all on the agenda,” the statement said. “France, like other European allies, plays a key role for our future.” The future will be a key topic on the agenda.”
The vice president is focused on moving forward, not looking back. The U.S. side expects concrete results from Harris and Macron’s meeting, but did not specify what they were.
The Elysee Palace press office said Macron is scheduled to meet with Harris on Nov. 10. Harris will speak at the annual Paris Peace Forum on Nov. 11 and attend a conference on Libya on Nov. 12.
