Eight people died during rapper Travis Scott's concert
At least eight people were killed and several injured Saturday in a stampede during a performance by American rapper Travis Scott in Houston, Texas. This was reported by the Houston Chronicle newspaper.
The incident occurred Friday at the opening of the Astroworld Festival of music, with a total of about 50,000 people attending the event. According to the head of the local fire department, during the concert, people began crowding towards the front of the stage, which caused panic, with some visitors losing consciousness.
