Biden stated that he is against recognizing Russia as a state sponsor of terrorism
U.S. President Joe Biden spoke out against recognizing Russia as a sponsor of terrorism, despite congressional efforts to do so.
According to Reuters, Biden was asked whether Russia should be recognized as a sponsor of terrorism when he returned to the White House from a trip to Wisconsin and Pennsylvania.
The president’s response was a short “no.” He would not speculate on the subject.
Earlier, the U.S. Senate passed a resolution urging the State Department to declare Russia a sponsor of terrorism, and a bill to that effect was introduced in the House of Representatives.
