The oldest resident of the United States, Bessie Hendricks, has died at the age of 115. This was reported by the New York Post.

According to its information, the woman passed away on Tuesday.

Hendricks was the fourth oldest person in the world, according to a research group of gerontologists. She was born Nov. 7, 1907, in Iowa and outlived two of her five children.

When the woman turned 110, she said the secret to a long and successful life was “hard work.”
