American Allman wins Olympic gold in discus throw

Valarie Allman of the United States won the gold medal in the discus throw at the Tokyo Summer Olympics.

In the finals, the American showed a result of 68.98 m.

Kristin Pudenz of Germany won the silver medal 66.86 m.

Bronze went to Cuba’s Jaime Perez 65.72 m.
