Trump called the leaders of Russia, China and North Korea the Smartest People

Former U.S. President Donald Trump called the leaders of Russia, China and North Korea the smartest people.

“They’re all the best. These people are the best at their game. The American guys are not and never have been,” the former White House chief said, noting that he thinks Chinese President Xi Jinping is “brilliant,” North Korean leader Kim Jong-un is “the best,” and Russian President Vladimir Putin is “very smart.”

Trump also added that the U.S. could have worked with Russia in a mutually beneficial way had it not been for the Democrat-initiated baseless investigation into election meddling in 2016. “I had a very good relationship with him Putin. But it was very difficult because of the fake Russia investigation,” he said.

In November 2022, Trump announced he would run for president in 2024.
