Microsoft plans to integrate artificial intelligence into its services
Microsoft plans to introduce artificial intelligence (AI) in the work of the Outlook information manager and the corporate platform Microsoft Teams.
Microsoft is investing $10 billion in the development of ChatGPT, a chatbot capable of working in dialog mode and imitating human conversation. According to experts, with this technology, Microsoft services will be able to perform more complex tasks than proofreading texts.
“We’re going to be leaders in the age of artificial intelligence,” said company chief Satya Nadella. He said the corporation is “rapidly becoming a platform” whose work is based on AI. Nadella did not specify the timeframe it would take to implement the technology.
Founded in 1975 by entrepreneurs Bill Gates and Paul Allen, Microsoft is one of the largest software corporations producing software for a variety of devices, from personal computers to cell phones. Microsoft is headquartered in Redmond, Washington.
